In this Jaaxy review, we will discuss how doing proper keyword research can make or break your niche website. To grow your online business, it is essential to have a keyword research tool that you can rely on. Jaaxy is the keyword research tool I use, and I will give you an inside look to help you decide if it’s the right option for you.
Proper keyword research can be the difference between ranking quickly or not ranking all. Having a tool that will not only help find great keywords but also provide you with long-tail keywords is essential to building your online business.
Table of Contents
So, with that said, let’s take an inside look at Jaaxy. I will show you how to use Jaaxy and what you can expect using this keyword tool. Be sure to check out my video below for a complete walkthrough.
Jaaxy Keyword Tool Review
Product: Jaaxy
Ease of use: 90/100
Price: 90/100
Keyword quality: 90/100
Recommended: YES
The Jaaxy user interface looks good and is easy to use, and I will show you the different ways to access Jaaxy in a bit.
When you log in, you will see a lot of different options. To start a basic keyword search, you simply click on the “Search” option, then “Keywords” and enter a keyword phrase.
The terms you see in the results can lead to other excellent keywords as well. All you have to do is click on one of the keyword results, and that will search for more keywords given that particular phrase.
The results will show you a variety of information, including Avg, Traffic, QSR, KQI, SEO, and finally, Domains. So what does all of this information mean? Okay, let’s check it out.
Avg

This is the average number of searches the keyword phrase receives each month. In the example of “Pizza oven,” that particular phrase is expected to get over 5,800 searches each month.
Traffic
This metric is the number of visitors you can expect to receive each month if your website ranks in the top spot. So in the pizza oven example, you can expect about 1,000 visitors per month for that search term.
QSR
Quoted Search Results is the number of websites that rank for the exact same keyword in Google. This gives you an idea of what the competition looks like. An excellent place to start when researching a keyword is to try and keep this under 100.
One thing to note here is that you will have to manually click on each search result to see QSR unless you have the Jaaxy Enterprise version. Manually clicking on each result adds a little bit of time, but saves you money. I will discuss pricing later on, but I just wanted to let you know in advance.
You can see in the image above, I have clicked on some of the links as an example and left some showing the “Get QSR” link showing.
KQI
This is a simple color-coded indicator in which green is good, yellow is okay, and red is bad. So, if KQI is green, this is a keyword that is worth going for, and if it’s red, you may want to keep looking.
SEO
The SEO score gives you an indication of how hard a KW is to rank for. This metric is backward from most other KW tools, because with Jaaxy, the higher the score, the easier to rank on the first page. This score is based on a scale of 1 to 100, with the higher being easier to rank.
Domains
A unique field, this actually gives you domain name suggestions based on a particular keyword phrase. If you are in the market for a specific keyword phrase as your domain name, this can be very helpful to tell you which domains are available.
Jaaxy Alphabet Soup

Alphabet Soup allows you to enter a phrase, and then the tool will provide you with more long-tail keywords related to your term. If you enter the phrase “Pizza oven,” you will see sections below, you’re your phrase + letters of the alphabet.
For instance, Pizza oven + “a” will return long-tail results with your key phrase (pizza oven), including words starting with each letter of the alphabet, like “pizza oven accessories” as a result. You can click on any of these search results and automatically perform a KW search on the term. This example shows some of the results given, and that is just for one letter.
Alphabet Soup is a great way to come up with keyword and niche website ideas. You may uncover some gems you never thought about.
Jaaxy Saved Lists
As you are searching and finding keywords, you can save these to lists. Maybe you are searching keyword ideas for different niche topics; Saved Lists lets you keep your findings as you go. You can export these lists to Excel or text files if you want to.
This is a cool feature that I have used a lot. Once I am done, I usually delete my list and start with something new. You can have several Saved Lists.
Jaaxy Search Analysis
Once you enter a keyword phrase, this feature will show you which websites are ranking on the various search engines, and give you pertinent information, like word count, and backlinks to the site. This is another outstanding tool to help you understand who your competition is, and decide whether or not you want to go after that keyword.
Jaaxy SiteRank

This is a beneficial feature in Jaaxy, and I use it a lot. Site Rank allows you to enter a keyword and a URL to show you how a site has ranked in the past. You can check out the past seven days, thirty days, all-time. This is a handy and powerful tool.
On the right, you see the SERP, and on the left, you get some more detail. You can set up a tracking schedule as well. In this example, you can see that Wired.com ranks fourth on Google for this search term. You can also track your own website too.
Who is Jaaxy for?
I think that beginners, as well as advanced bloggers, will have success using Jaaxy. The interface and results are designed with simplicity in mind. If you need more data, or love to live in the minutiae, then you may want to look elsewhere, but Jaaxy is a pretty darn straight forward keyword tool.
I think the most significant aspect of Jaaxy is the unique keywords you get from your search results. You will find long-tail keywords that you would never have thought of. Jaaxy is excellent for building niche websites. The Alphabet Soup tool can help you find great keywords.
Jaaxy Training
There is a series of video tutorials on the “Jaaxy Help” page. These videos walk you through keyword research, niche refinement, and search analysis so you will be set when you start using Jaaxy. These videos are to the point and walk you through how to get the most out of Jaaxy.
How much does Jaaxy cost?
Free account
You can try Jaaxy for free and give it a test run. You will be limited to 30 keyword searches, but that should be plenty of time to decide if this keyword tool is right for you. Give it a try by entering a keyword phrase below.
Jaaxy Pro
For $49/month, you get 2,000 SiteRank scans, multiple tabs for your KW searches, SiteRank tracking, unlimited Saved Lists, Manual QSR check, and Alphabet Soup results (15/letter).
Jaaxy Enterprise
At $99/month, the top-tier plan offers everything from Pro, but with a few more bells and whistles, as you would expect. You get Instant QSR, so no manual clicking on each result, 10,000 SiteRank scans, 5 tabs for keyword research, Alphabet Soup results (50/letter), plus more.
Personally, I use Jaaxy Pro, and I find it more than meets my needs.
How to use Jaaxy
There are a few different ways to access the Jaaxy user interface. For starters, you can easily access Jaaxy from any web browser. You simply log in at Jaaxy.com and enter your credentials.
Now, there is one thing I have wanted to touch on is Wealthy Affiliate. Jaaxy is the official keyword tool of Wealthy Affiliate. If you are a member or decide to sign up for Premium membership with WA, you have access to Jaaxy Lite for free with your WA membership.
You are correct I didn’t mention Jaaxy Lite previously, because it is available exclusively within Wealthy Affiliate. Jaaxy Lite is the entry-level version and offers a lot of functionality like unlimited keyword searches and 100 SiteRank scans per month. The best part is that you can use it for free with a WA Premium membership.

If you are a Wealthy Affiliate member, you can access Jaaxy within the WA platform from the left-hand navigation menu. You get the same functionality of Jaaxy, either way, you log in, it’s just integrated and streamlined within WA.
So, this is something to think about. If you are looking for a place to learn how to build an online business, or you want to host a website, you can do so with WA. There are different price points for WA membership, and I will touch on those briefly here.
If you are interested in learning more about Wealthy Affiliate, please see my review here. This post is not designed to be about WA, but if you are interested in signing up for Jaaxy, there are low-cost entry points for Jaaxy through Wealthy Affiliate if you choose to go that route.
For example, Jaaxy Pro is $19/month with a WA Premium membership, and Enterprise is $49/month. There are also annual billing plans if you want to go that route.

Steve
Hey Steve,
This is comprehensive guide on What Jaaxy is all about and how to use it…and trust as a newbie blogger I have been looking for something like this. I really like the Alphabet Soup option, that’s so cool, you can really go in-depth with your keyword search.
I also like the option of joining the affiliate training platform (Wealth Affiliate) and getting a Jaxy Lite, I may consider this option. Also in terms of pricing as compared to SEMRUSH or Ahrefs this seems to be more cheaper ? What about features to other keyword search tools…is it the same ?You may want throw some light on this to me…overall loved your post.
Thanks for your comment and suggestion. There are more expensive keyword tools out there for sure. I have a bit of experience with both SEMRUSH and Ahrefs, but I focused on Jaaxy for this review. I think Jaaxy checks a lot of boxes for many people and it’s a solid and cost-effective KW tool. Sure, you can spend well over $100/month for some of the other tools out there, but Jaaxy offers a lot of value at the price. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your comment.
Hey Steve,
I love your article on the Jaaxy tool. I’ve not used this tool before but I have heard a bit about it. I have just been using the google keyword planner tool, but a lot more people are using different things for their keywords.
I think I might give the Jaaxy tool a try and I’ll let you know how I get on with it. I might even give it my own review. I have forwarded this article on to a friend of mine who has started his own online business too. I’ll encourage him to comment and try it out too.
Thank you for sharing this, and keep up the amazing work on your website. It is looking great.
All the best,
Tom
Hi Tom, I appreciate your feedback. Let me know if you have any questions about Jaaxy.
Jaaxy does sound like an awesome keyword tool plus offers many other benefits for affiliate marketers using content marketing, so you mentioned this tool is a bit on the expensive side for someone just starting a business. What I would like to know is the Jaaxy Lite version in your opinion going to be good enough for me to succeed with a new business, if you were starting a business which version of this tool would you invest in yourself?
Jeff
Hi Jeff, thanks for stopping by, and great question. I think Jaaxy Lite is a great, cost-effective keyword research tool. This is especially true if you are just getting started. With a WA Premium membership, you can use Jaaxy Lite for free. I would have no problem using Jaaxy Lite until my business was earning some money each month. Then when you decide you can afford to upgrade you can. The biggest difference in Jaaxy Lite vs Jaaxy Pro, are the extra tabs for KW research, more SiteRank scans and a few other differences. You can do a lot with Jaaxy Lite and it is a great way to start. Let me know if you have any more questions, I am happy to help.
I found this post on jaaxy really useful and learnt a few things I hadn’t realised before! I’ve been using it for a while now and it really is the best keyword tool I’ve found. As a WA member I’m happy with jaaxy lite, but may upgrade in the future.
Hi Kathy, thanks for stopping by. I am glad you learned something from my review, mission accomplished! Jaaxy Lite is a great tool to get started and many people use it exclusively. I think it’s a great tool for a niche website, and it doesn’t hurt that it is free with a WA Premium membership. Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help.
